Why is this important to Hampton?

Venture capital has long been dominated by a very homogenous group of investors and decision-makers. This negative feedback loop means that fewer people of diversity attract resources, which means fewer raise venture. The fewer that launch venture-scale startups, the fewer that have outsized success, and thus the fewer that are in the room, making decisions.

We want to do our part to bridge the gap between those who are in the room, and those who are not.
