Good news...
We received your application.
We're reviewing it as we speak.
We think it's important that you know how we handle things.
Please…take a second to read.
Step 1: First screen.
This is where you are right now.
Helen and Alix (our Membership Team) are looking at your application as you read this.
They're likely standing at their desks in our New York City office looking over the info you submitted, your LinkedIn, your company's website, your Crunchbase - really anything they can get their hands on!
They're seeing if:
- Your company does at least $3M in revenue
- Is it in tech, internet, or a related space?
- And if you're in a city where we're accepting new members
Step 2: The interview.
If Helen and Alix think that you're a good fit "on paper," they'll set up a call with you.
This is not a sales call. It's an interview, vetting call. Helen and Alix… They don't decide who gets into Hampton (we'll address in a few more sentences down).
They want to hear how you think, what you're building, and get a sense of your energy.
Our Membership Team has interviewed thousands of entrepreneurs.
Step 3: Community veto.
After the interview, other Hampton members get a chance to veto your application.
Why?
Because we let the group self-police. If someone's had bad, unethical experiences with you, they can block you from joining. It keeps Hampton high-trust.
Step 4: The invite.
If there are no objections, our Core Team (led by Alexa and Maya, who run our 13 cities) will decide if you're a good fit for their Chapter.
Finally, our two founders (Sam and Joe) will review your interview and file. If everything's great - they'll click the invite button and boom - you'll get an email.
You'll have 10 days to accept and pay your first year's dues + initiation fee.
The invite will come via email about two weeks after your interview (sometimes less, sometimes more).
Step 5: You're in.
You will get instant access to the digital community where you can network with our 1,000+ members throughout the country and can attend events in your local chapter.
It'll take about 90 days until your Core group placement. This is a meticulous process and can't be rushed!
Yes - it's a lot.
But Hampton only works because we meticulously curate people and filter out non-serious operators through a vetting process.
If we aren't super uptight about all this then, well, our members will churn out and not be with us for decades (the goal!).
Now you know.
We'll email you soon.
Hampton has chapters in 13 cities

Testimonials
Taylor Hersom
Founder of Eden Data
"Just wanted to drop a Texas-sized thank you: Eden has officially been acquired, and the amount of support and answers (and even customers) that I have gotten from Hampton played such a pivotal role in getting me to this moment."
Austin Lamar Wright
Founder & CEO, 8th Wonder Equity
"What an amazing group of 16 founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and genuinely great people. We had a private chef and wait staff take care of the whole evening, and the conversations were incredible. This is what our Hampton network is all about."
Natalie Kaminski
Co-Founder & CEO of JetRockets
"This was my third Hampton retreat, and honestly, it was the best one yet! I got to spend time with incredible founders who share the same entrepreneurial drive, and face the same challenges, no matter our revenue level. We pushed boundaries (both physical and mental), reminded each other of the power of community, accountability, and support, and showed up with full authenticity."
Jay Sapovits
President, Ink'd Stores
"Last night I had the good fortune to meet some incredible Founders IRL, play some pickleball and talk the day to day of being an entrepreneur with folks who experientially understand, have no agenda (not family, friends, investors, etc) and genuinely care. Everytime I'm at a Hampton event, I leave grateful to Sam Parr and Joe Speiser for both creating it and having a standard of quality to the community. "
Jason Shafton
Founder & CEO, Winston Francois
"Being a founder is often sold as freedom. But the truth is, it can be lonely. There’s no manual for the decisions we make. No roadmap for the emotional weight we carry. No one telling you if you’re doing it right. That’s why this Hampton core group means so much to me."
Nathan Ruff
CEO, OneNine
"People ask me all the time about Hampton. Here is the honest truth: It’s the greatest. It is a community of smart, successful people who are hungry to grow and expand their knowledge."
