About Hampton

Hampton is a private network for high-growth founders running tech-enabled companies with $3M+ in revenue. Our members meet in small peer groups (Core Groups) facilitated by trained moderators. The moderator role is the backbone of the Hampton experience.

About the Role

We're hiring a Moderator Success Lead to own the end-to-end moderator experience — from onboarding and training to ongoing performance, engagement, and retention. You'll be the primary point of contact for our growing network of moderators, ensuring they feel supported, equipped, and motivated to deliver world-class group experiences.

This is a high-ownership, high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of people operations, community, and program management.

What You'll Do

  • Own the moderator lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and offboarding
  • Build and maintain scalable onboarding and training programs for new moderators
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for moderators — fielding questions, resolving issues, and providing coaching
  • Monitor moderator performance using data (attendance, NPS, engagement metrics) and qualitative feedback
  • Design and run moderator recognition and engagement programs to improve retention
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the Core Product, Membership, and Events teams
  • Create and maintain moderator-facing resources, playbooks, and communication channels
  • Identify and escalate systemic issues affecting moderator satisfaction or group quality

Who You Are

  • 4–7 years of experience in people operations, community management, program management, or a related field
  • Experience managing or supporting a distributed workforce (contractors, facilitators, coaches, etc.)
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — you build trust quickly with senior professionals
  • Highly organized with strong project management instincts
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and building processes from scratch
  • Data-informed — you use metrics to identify patterns and drive decisions
  • Based in or willing to relocate to NYC; available in-office 3 days/week

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Work alongside a small, high-performing team building one of the most respected founder communities in the world
