About Hampton
Hampton is a private network for high-growth founders running tech-enabled companies with $3M+ in revenue.
Our members are ambitious builders scaling successful companies who want more than tactical advice or transactional networking. They want depth. They want peers who truly get it. They want a place where they can be completely honest about the wins, the screwups, and everything in between.
At the heart of Hampton are Core Groups: small, hand-curated circles of eight founders who meet in person every month to work through their hardest challenges, trade unfiltered feedback, and hold each other accountable. Core Groups are where trust is built, breakthroughs happen, and the real value of Hampton comes to life. Beyond Core Groups, members engage through curated local events across 16 cities, a global digital community of 1,000+ founders, and retreats around the world.
The Role
We’re hiring a full-time Event Coordinator to help design and deliver Hampton’s local dinners.
This NYC-based role will focus on producing and executing Hampton dinners and supporting the team operationally. You’ll partner closely with our Head of Events and Senior Event Producer to plan, coordinate, and deliver top-tier experiences that bring our community together and reflect Hampton’s high standard of taste, execution, and hospitality.
The ideal candidate combines exceptional operational precision with creative instinct. Someone who can scout the perfect rooftop venue in Chicago one day and troubleshoot AV at a Dallas founder dinner the next. You’re equal parts organized producer, creative thinker, and thoughtful host.
Key Responsibilities
Event Research & Vendor Sourcing (40%)
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with venues and vendors who align with Hampton’s quality and brand aesthetic.
- Maintain an updated database of trusted partners, including venues, caterers, photographers, and experience vendors.
- Research emerging hospitality trends and experiences to keep Hampton’s events fresh and differentiated.
Event Coordination & Execution (30%)
- Manage pre-event logistics: venue holds, vendor contracts, seating charts, guest list coordination, and run of shows.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Member Success, Tech, and Core) to ensure all event touch points reflect a high-end member experience.
Marketing & Communications (20%)
- Draft engaging event communications that drive RSVPs, including email invites, Slack posts, and newsletter blurbs.
- Capture post-event highlights and feedback to share wins with internal and member audiences.
Data Maintenance (10%)
- Track event budgets, expenses, and ROI metrics to maintain efficiency and excellence.
You are probably a fit if you are:
- 2–4 years of experience in events, experiential marketing, or community management, ideally working in startups, hospitality, or founder-driven environments.
- You’ve planned and executed multiple events at once, managing budgets, timelines, and vendors with precision.
- Deep understanding of what makes an experience exceptional, from pre-event touch points to the feeling guests have as they leave.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented, with strong project-management skills.
- A clear communicator — you keep everyone informed and are calm under pressure.
- Strong negotiation and vendor-management abilities; you know how to get quality results within budget.
- Tech-savvy with tools like Notion, Airtable, Asana, Slack, and Google Workspace.
- Team-oriented but independent — you thrive when trusted to run with something, but know when to loop others in.
- An instinct for brand alignment and aesthetic consistency — you notice details others miss.
Bonus points for…
- Experience in operations, venture platform, hospitality or other client-facing, membership or community roles.
- Strong marketing experience.
- Being on top of emerging trends.
- Comfortable with founder/startup lingo.
This role reports to the Head of Events and is full-time and hybrid, working from our office near Penn Station 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday).
