About Hampton
Hampton is a private network for high-growth founders running tech-enabled companies with $3M+ in revenue.
Our members are ambitious builders scaling successful companies looking for more than just tactical advice or transactional networking. They want depth. They want peers who truly get it. They want a place where they can talk about the wins, the screwups, the quiet doubts, the "okay... what now?"
They're scaling businesses, but they also know that their next 10x comes from growing themselves as leaders. That's why they join Hampton.
At the center of Hampton are Core Groups: small, hand-curated circles of founders who meet in person every month to work through their hardest challenges, trade unfiltered feedback, and hold each other accountable at a level that only true peers can. This is where trust is built, breakthroughs happen, and the real value of Hampton comes to life.
The Role
We're hiring a Moderator Success Lead to own Hampton's frontline relationship with our moderator network. In a world racing toward AI automation and digital scale-at-all-costs, this role is intentionally human-first - built around depth, nuance, and the kind of emotional intelligence that can't be automated.
Each Core Group is led by a Moderator: a seasoned Moderator - typically an ex-founder, CEO, or executive - who's earned the credibility to sit in a room with high-growth founders and lead hard conversations.
The Moderators who lead our Core Groups are the engine behind Hampton's most valuable product - our Core Groups, and keeping our Core Groups exceptional is the whole job.
Every great moderator directly shapes the experience of an entire Core Group. That's 8 founders who get more breakthroughs, deeper connections, and compounding value from their Hampton membership. Moderators set the morale, energy, and groundwork for their groups. The right person in this role doesn't just support a Moderator - they shape the culture of the Hampton community as a whole.
What You'll Do
- Be the face of the Moderator Experience - Own touchpoints from the moment a Moderator joins our network through onboarding, ongoing development, and long-term retention. You'll also own the logistics that keep it all running: supporting group launches, coaching moderators through group dynamics, and helping them welcome new members into their groups.
- Own operational rigor - Run the cadences, manage moderator issues, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks. You own day-to-day execution of training and ensuring moderators run healthy Core groups.
- Monitor moderator health across the portfolio - Track health scores and engagement signals and partner with the Director of Moderator Experience on development and coaching plans.
- Execute on policy and program rollouts - Partner with the Director to design policies and own the follow-through, ensuring every rollout lands cleanly and consistently across every Core Group.
Success in This Role Will Be Measured By
- Quality and consistency of the onboarding experience - does every new moderator enter the network feeling prepared, confident, and set up to lead from day one?
- Group health - are Core Groups thriving, with strong dynamics, high engagement, and members getting real value from every session?
- Moderator retention and satisfaction - are your moderators staying, and do they feel genuinely supported in the role?
You are probably a fit if you:
- Have 3+ years of experience in operations, program coordination, or customer success - with a track record of delivering clear outcomes
- Are an executor who thrives on making things run - you build systems, create order, and pick up the phone for direct, sensitive conversations with experienced professionals
- Are analytical and grounded - you know how to track the data and spot what's off before the numbers confirm it
- Can read a room, handle ambiguity, and use good judgment in situations without a clear playbook
- Are energized by in-person collaboration and deeply curious about human behavior, group dynamics, and what builds trust
- Are a strong communicator who can work across teams, translate between stakeholders, and keep everyone aligned without being asked
- Are fluent with AI tools - you'll use them to manage a portfolio of moderators at a level of care that would be impossible manually
Bonus points for...
- Experience in L&D, training design, or program operations
- Familiarity with community or membership models
- Comfortable with Notion, Airtable, HubSpot, or similar tools
- Background in customer success, hospitality, coaching, or other high-touch service environments
What's in it for you
- High-visibility role with direct access to Hampton's network of world-class founders and Moderators
- $80K - $110K salary, depending on experience
- Individual performance bonus structure
- 401(k) with company match
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Unlimited PTO
