About Hampton
Hampton is a private network for high-growth founders running tech-enabled companies with $3M+ in revenue. Our founders are ambitious builders who are scaling successful companies while also seeking meaningful conversations, leadership growth, and world-class peer connections.
At the heart of Hampton are Core Groups: intimate circles of founders who meet monthly to share their toughest challenges, exchange unfiltered feedback, and hold each other accountable. Core Groups are where trust is built, breakthroughs happen, and the true value of Hampton comes to life. Beyond Core Groups, members also engage through curated local events, our global digital community, and retreats around the world.
Hampton is actively growing in-person Core Groups across 13 cities: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, London, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Toronto & Vancouver.
The Role
We’re looking for a Director of Chapters to oversee and empower our network of Chapter Leads while also directly managing a select group of cities. Hampton is at a pivotal moment of growth, expanding into new markets and deepening the value we deliver to founders. Chapter Leads are central to that mission. They serve as trusted partners who guide founders through Core Groups, local events, membership support, and renewals.
As Director, you’ll operate as a player-coach: responsible for the health, retention, and growth of the founders in your own cities while also managing, coaching, and scaling the performance of Chapter Leads across other markets. You’ll own the strategy for delivering a white-glove member experience at scale, ensuring every founder’s journey, from onboarding through renewal, feels seamless, personal, and high-impact.
This role sits at the intersection of team management, community strategy, and high-touch member experience, while also playing a critical part in Hampton’s market expansion. You will shape launch strategies, stand up new city operations, and refine our playbook so we can replicate excellence as we grow into new regions. In addition, you will partner cross-functionally to ensure best-in-class customer support, deliver world-class events and programs, and help chart the course for Hampton’s community at scale.
This role reports directly to the VP of Core and will oversee a team of 2-4 Chapter Leads, with responsibility for directly managing 2–3 cities yourself.
The position is based in New York City and will require periodic travel to assigned cities to support local teams, attend events, and engage directly with founders.

- Collaborate with leadership to drive market expansion and cross-functional initiatives by shaping launch strategies, building new city operations, and refining Hampton’s playbook to replicate excellence as we scale globally.
- Directly manage a portfolio of cities, serving as the relationship owner for founders in those markets. Guide them through onboarding, Core Group placement, renewals, and ongoing support to ensure strong retention, thriving groups, and a seamless, white-glove member experience.
- Implement and optimize systems and tools (HubSpot, Airtable, Notion, Slack, event platforms) that enable Chapter Leads and your own work to scale effectively.
